WAYNE, Mich. — AutoVentive is thrilled to announce the addition of Tim Grant to our team as the Product Director for AutoVentive, a sister company to Precision Vehicle Logistics. Grant brings 25 years of operational management experience in manufacturing, product development, and sales, making him an impactful asset to our organization.
In his new role, Grant will spearhead our efforts in achieving three key goals:
World-Class Team and Product Offerings: Grant will contribute to the development of a world-class team and enhance our product offerings to ensure excellence within AutoVentive.
Expanding Product Offerings: Grant will lead initiatives to expand AutoVentive’s product offerings into both existing and diverse channels outside of transportation. This strategic expansion will play a pivotal role in positioning AutoVentive as a versatile player in the market.
Promoting Technology Leadership: Grant will continue to enhance AutoVentive’s technologies as the market leader in Track & Trace solutions for products, people, and processes. His expertise will be instrumental in showcasing AutoVentive as a key innovator in the field.

Before joining AutoVentive, Grant excelled in various leadership roles at Lacks Enterprises, Inc., a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor in the automotive industry. With experience in quality, engineering, plant management, and product development, Grant has successfully led manufacturing teams through turnarounds and startups in multiple locations. His background also includes significant contributions at Evart Products Textron, a Tier One automotive supplier.
Grant is known for coaching leadership and operational excellence development. He firmly believes in investing in operational teams and individuals within a collaborative environment for sustained success.
An auto-racing and sports enthusiast, Grant enjoys attending sports events, particularly baseball and auto-racing. As a history buff, he loves traveling to historic battlefields and sites. In recent years, Grant has taken up paddle boarding and enjoys being on the water with his wife, Dana, and good friends.
